Bachmobile German Auto Service ("Bachmobile," "we," "us") operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to bachmobilegerman.com only, not to any third party site we link to.
Information We Collect
We only collect what you type into the service request form on this site. That is your first and last name, phone number, email address, and the vehicle and problem details you choose to provide. There is no account system, no login, and no newsletter signup on this website.
Our website host records standard server access data, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and is used for security and reliability, not to build a profile of you.
How We Use It
Information from the service request form is used for one purpose: to contact you about your vehicle and the service you asked about. We use it to prepare for your visit, quote your repair, and follow up.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it to send marketing you did not ask for.
Who Else Touches It
Two service providers necessarily handle form submissions in transit:
- Formspree processes the contact form and delivers submissions to our email. Their handling is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Our website host serves the pages and generates the server logs described above.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
Cookies and Tracking
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not run analytics scripts. Google Maps is embedded on the contact page and the homepage, and Google may set cookies through that embed under its own policies. If that matters to you, your browser settings can block third party cookies.
How Long We Keep It
Service request submissions are retained for as long as they are useful for servicing your vehicle and maintaining a repair history, and then deleted. You may ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your Rights Under Texas Law
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the right to:
- Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access it
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Obtain a copy of the data you provided, in a portable format
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, of targeted advertising, and of profiling. We do none of these.
To exercise any of these rights, call us at (346) 372-2060 or ask at the shop. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time frame the law requires. If we deny a request you may appeal by contacting us again and stating that you are appealing.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not ask for sensitive data through this website. Never send payment card numbers, bank details, or a Social Security number through the contact form.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
